The Mahale Mountains are mountains that are one of the reservoirs in Tanzania. This park is located in western Tanzania as it borders Lake Tanganyika. This park is composed of landscaped hills and covered with thick forests with a total of 1613 square miles.
The Mountains of the Mountains
Like a reserve neighboring north of the Gombe, the Mahale Mountains are the rare residential community of Sokwe in Africa. In the thick forest of tropical forests, a large Sokwe group is seen in the hills and valleys.
Fruit residues that are absorbed by feces are among the things that lead visitors to reach these creatures. This area is also known as Nkungwe name derived from the largest mountain in this park. With a height of 2460 meters, it is the tallest of the six tops that make up the slopes of the Mahale mountains that protest its slopes in Lake Tanganyika.
Also in these mountains you will see the natural part of the tribe of the Waters who grew up worshiping their spirits on the mountains, then returning to the lake and drowning in cold water and the lake, with a reputation of having more than 250 species of fish.
You can reach this park through Kigoma where there is a sailing and good time to visit this park as a dry season, between May and October.
